GET TO RECOVER YOUR INSTINCT

 

We all have beliefs or even taboos about what we’re used to eat every day, depending on traditions, social behaviours and individual tastes.. To some, it can be very challenging to move from a ‘sustain’ perspective to a ‘nutrition’ one.. Today we know that a majority of diseases and degenerative troubles are increasingly linked with what we eat and how - yet this can also be observed through instinct and basic common-sense..

Also, biology helps to understand the basic process of assimilation beyond myths and theories.. Digestion start in the mouth, with saliva producing ptyaline, the alcaline digestive enzyme for carbohydrates, then the pancreatic lipase, almost neutral which reduces fats, then the very acid pepsine which breaks down proteins into amino-acids.. So what??

Well, the stomach hasn’t the capacity to handle alcaline, neutral and acid enzymes all at once.. It ends up in a conflict where almost nothing will be assimilated, just killing the potential value of foods and resulting in more toxins than real nutriments produced..

Yes, the famous “muesli” by Swiss Dr. Bircher is, biologically speaking, a huge mess of antagonistic elements (the carbohydrates of cereals plus the presure of milk plus the acidity of fruits plus the proteins/fats of nuts plus the glucides of sugar/honey, and then why not, alcaloids of a coffee to finish the job?)..

Instinct has no reason to function well with food combinations or ingredients that don’t exist in our basic genetics, thus our metabolism isn’t protected against alien molecules created by all kinds of mixing, heating, processing..

 

For the most sensible it could be a winning deal to skip the noise about theories, methods or recipes and just let the body be their compass.. Nature is generous, giving us all what we need to stay in perfect shape.. it’s up to our free-will to trust its innate science and enjoy its infinite gifts!
